Training small multilingual Transformers to provide answers to sexual health
Abstract:
The world is at the peak of the hype cycle on Large Language Models that are resource intensive to not only train but to also deploy. In this talk we will highlight how we achieve impact by training smaller transformers to get great results on a single targeted problems in multiple languages.
Speaker Biography:
Irving Amukasa is a Tech Entrepreneur, self-taught Android and AI developer, founder and CEO of Sophie Bot. Irving is a co-organizer of Android 254, an android developer group based in Kenya and previous organizer of droidcon.co.ke, the largest android focus developer conference in Africa. Irving is also a Windows Insider 4 Good fellow and MentorNations ambassador.
